dc.description.abstract | The intention is not only to publish information on the Impact of Natural Disaster Gestation in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) : Case of Mozambique (20102017), but together with the readers, trigger a process of reflection and debate the theme. In recent years, in all parts of the planet, in the face of adversities, especially of climatic origin, natural disasters are deadlier than some wars, so that states tend to capitalize on more resources than ever to overcome these hecatombs. In this work the safety theory was explored, especially the contribution of the Copenhagen school, which presents a safety perspective that focuses on the environmental monitoring that is the focus of this research work and also conceptual reference aims to broaden the knowledge about the subject. Natural disasters these days are a perennial threat to national and international security. They cause more sacrifices of lives of people and goods than some conventional wars. Under the conditions of Mozambique, natural disasters cause damage to the economy and the social fabric, there is a need to focus on population education, structural and non-structural measures, bet on SADC and international cooperation. The factors that cause natural disasters in Mozambique are: floods, cyclones and droughts which endangers the safety of citizens. The approach methodology is exploratory and descriptive, | pt_BR |
